What does corporate law regulate?
Corporate law regulates how corporations, investors, shareholders, directors, employees, creditors, and other stakeholders interact with one another, including interactions with consumers, the community, and the environment.
How does business law differ from corporate law?
While business law is colloquially used interchangeably with corporate law, business law mostly refers to wider concepts of commercial law, including commercial and business-related purposes and activities. It may also include matters relating to corporate governance or financial law.
