- Up to 30 metric rules can be created, with a customizable retention period
- Each organization is limited to 10M total metric permutations per day
Default Metric and Grouping
- A default metric is created for each Events2Metrics setup, counting total logs or spans that match the query and scope
- Metric name is
_cx_docs_total
and can be queried via Grafana - Default metric can be grouped by labels defined in the Labels section
- A Count metric is enabled for tracking the number of spans or logs that match Events2Metrics filters
