Converting Decimals to Fractions

  • To convert a decimal to a fraction, separate the whole number part and the fractional part.
  • The whole number part remains the same, while the fractional part is converted by dividing by a power of 10 (10, 100, 1000, etc.) depending on the number of decimal places.

Examples of Converting Decimals to Fractions

  • 0.6 = 6/10 = 3/5
