  • All other employees who exceed their annual allotment receive 85% for 3 months.
  • It is 65% from 3 months to 9 months.
  • Supplement pay with vacation or reserve vacation.
  • New sick allotment must use: 48, 45, 42 hours.
  • Employees with less than the full allotment when starting extended leave must pay back hours at an equal rate plus the new allotment.
  • Maximum leave time for Special Risk is 18 months, for Apparatus Techs: 12 months, and for all others: 9 months.
  • Full duty is required to start a new extended leave: 6 months.
  • If less than 6 months, two leaves are counted accumulatively.
  • Sick leave for probationary employees is prorated after 6 months.
  • A doctor's note is required every 30 days.

Sick Leave Usage and Notification
