- Delivers information, communication tools, and software applications on demand to local devices via the Internet.

Hotline
- Telephone number that an internal or external user can call to reach a help desk service.
Information Technology (IT), Information Systems, Information Services (IS)
- Modern names of what was formerly known as the Data Processing Department.
- May also be responsible for network and telecommunication systems, such as user PCs, mobile devices, and support services.
Internal User
- Computer user who works in the same organization that provides support services.
- Also referred to as an in-house client.
Keystroke Logger
- Malware program that captures keystrokes a user enters and transmits the captured information to an external site.
Knowledge Worker
- Employee whose primary job function is to collect, prepare, process, and distribute information.
KSAs
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the tasks in a specific job or role.
