- The Philippine Constitution (Article XIII, Section 1 to 19) enshrines social justice, mandating the protection of the right of all people to equality of opportunities.
- Principles of human rights include universality, inalienability, indivisibility, interdependence, equality, and non-discrimination, participation, and inclusion, and accountability and rule of law.
