- Water Flow Rate Conversion: A water flow rate of 6 litres per minute is equivalent to 0.1 litres per second.
- Unapproved Installation Materials: Push-fit copper fittings, Solder fittings with lead/tin solder, are approved for use in Cold Water Systems installation, but Type 'A' compression fittings are not.
- Cold Water System Types: A "Direct Cold Water System" is where all cold water draw-off points, except the sink, are fed from a storage cistern. An alternative is an "Indirect System".
