    • Teachers must be physically, mentally, and morally fit to serve the best interests of the state, the Filipino people, and themselves.
    • Teachers cannot engage in promoting political, religious, or partisan interests and cannot solicit, require, collect, or receive any money or service from any person or entity for such purposes.
    • Teachers enjoy academic freedom and can share the results of their research and investigations, but if the results are detrimental to state policy, they must be submitted to the proper authorities.
    • Teachers must participate in the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program of the Professional Regulation Commission and pursue further studies to enhance their efficiency, prestige, competence, virtues, and productivity.
    • Teachers are expected to demonstrate loyalty, mutual confidence, and cooperation with colleagues. They must support one another, especially when the best interests of learners, the school, or the profession are at stake.
