CNIC-Polypill

The CNIC-polypill is a cardiovascular (CV) polypill used for secondary CV prevention in patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (CVD).

Some of the challenges in implementing the use of the CNIC-polypill in real-world clinical practice include barriers in secondary CV prevention and the need to overcome these barriers for effective implementation.

Several guidelines state that a CV polypill should be considered an integral part of a comprehensive CV disease (CVD) prevention strategy.
