Potential Benefits of Circumcision
- Reduced risk of:
- Ca penis
- UTI

- Ca cervix (males with intact prepuce are purported to be carriers of human papillovirus)
Surgical Technique
- Use of clamps:
- Gomco
- Mogen
- (Bone)
- Use of plastibel
- Free hand operation
- Prepuce is dilated and freed from the underlying glans penis
- Freed preputial skin is pulled distally over the glans on 2 pairs of forceps
- Clamp is applied distal to the glans
- Prepuce is excised flush the clamp
