Casablanca: History, Culture, and Economic Significance

Casablanca is a city located in Morocco, known for its rich history and diverse culture. It was established by the Portuguese in 1515 under the name Anfa before falling into Spanish hands during the reign of Charles V. The city later became part of France's North Africa colony during their colonization period from 1912 to 1956.
