Candidiasis Albicans

Candidiasis Albicans is the most common form of yeast infection that is part of the normal flora of human hosts.

Diaper dermatitis caused by Candidiasis Albicans is characterized by a red area with defined margins, and it may have satellite lesions. It does not necessarily indicate immune deficiency.

The recommended treatments for diaper dermatitis caused by Candidiasis Albicans include topical barrier ointments like Vaseline, hydrocortisone 1% for severe cases, ketoconazole for presentations lasting more than 3 days, and nystatin powder for areas between tissue folds.
