- The CA Foundation Course consists of four series of papers.
- The previous name of the CA Foundation Course was the Common Proficiency Test (CPT).
- The CA Foundation exam is conducted four times a year, i.e., quarterly.
- To become a chartered accountant, students need to complete three additional levels: Intermediate and Final courses, and articleship training.
