How did you get into immersive learning and XR?
When I started in academic publishing, I was working within Neuroscience with some cognitive neuroscientistds looking at bodily ownership illusions and the therapeutic applications in VR. This was the first time I had seen an application beyond gaming.
In line with this, I discovered applications to learning - especially in terms of climate change and nature affinity and medical education, and even some fundamental research like protein structure and function.

What I really like is the interdisciplinarity that you represent, and the diverse range of voices, the international aspect. Special tracks at the conference - Equity, South America, and Climate Change. Proceedings - accessibility - traffic safety skills to people with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities - MedMicroMaps - to enhance microbiology education.
