Quota Policies
- Maximum quota expiration: 13 months post-application.
- Separation quotas last until separation is completed or reset by the enlisted community manager.
E-Sailor Application Procedures
- E6 sailors must submit mandatory reenlistment applications but are generally approved if eligible.
- E5 to E3 sailors' applications are processed based on balanced, open, and competitive reenlistment criteria.
Secondary UIC Assignments
- Sailors can be assigned a secondary UIC, beneficial for those on Individual Augmentee or Temporary Additional Duty assignments.
PRD Applications

Transition from RC to AC/FTS
- Reserve Sailors wishing to switch to Active Component or Full-Time Support must submit a C-WAY-TRANS application.
C-Way Status Codes
- Status Code "Approved - Executed": quota utilized; SEAOS updated.
- Status Code "Approved - Expired": quota not used within 13 months.
- Status Code "Approved - Revoked": quota revoked by the ECM due to various reasons.
- Status Code "Approved - Separated": member separated with an approved quota.
- Status Code "Approved - Unused": existing extension went active instead of using the quota.
C-WAY Status Codes for EMF
- AIR: Active In-Rate Approval
- ACV: Active Conversion Approval
- DFI: Denied Final In-Rate
- FSP: Denied Final, Forced Separation
- VSP: Denied Final, Voluntary Separation
- ESP: Denied Final, Ineligible Separation
- ITS: No Final Status, Intends to Separate
- IEG: No Final Status, Currently Ineligible
- RQR: No Final Status - Requested SELRES
C-Way Reenlistment Checklist
