Preventing Slip and Fall Hazards
- When the floor is wet in the Reception area, place a 'WET FLOOR' sign in a prominent location.
- Ensure floor signs are visible to prevent accidents.
Preventing Trip and Fall Hazards
- Keep hallways and doorways clear of clutter to prevent tripping.
- Garbages/Recyclables cannot be stored temporarily in hallways until the end of the shift.
- Mop buckets must be stored in the Janitor's Cubby and only pulled out for cleanups.
- Food carts should be stored in the Food Room, not in front of Electrical or Oxygen Closets.
- Receiving areas need to be kept clear with full access to Electrical and Oxygen Closets.
- Food orders received must be stored in the orange floor area.
- Lights must be turned on when going up or down stairs.
