  • Scones should be broken with your hands, not cut with a knife.
  • If using Cornish clotted cream, put jam on first and cream on last. If using Devonshire clotted cream, put cream on first.
  • Never sandwich the jam and cream together.
  • Use a small fork or pastry fork to eat.
  • Dab your mouth when finished, do not wipe.
