Respiratory System

Consists of air passages and lungs that supply oxygen to the blood for cellular respiration and eliminate carbon dioxide from it.

Capillaries and Alveoli

Surround the alveoli where carbon dioxide is released and oxygen is absorbed.
Each alveoli is connected to an alveolar duct supplied by bronchioles within the lung.
