Climate
- Rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the Southern Bicol Region.
- The Eastern part experiences a wet season from December to February.
- Scattered rainfall occurs from March to May.
- Bicol is located within a typhoon belt.
Location and Topography
- Region 5 is in the Southeastern part of Luzon.
- It is bordered to the North and East by the Philippine Sea, to the South by the Visayas Sea, and to the West by Quezon and Romblon.
- To the east is the Philippine Sea, and on the northern part is Samar Island.
- The region is largely mountainous.
