Biblical Figures and Events

• Abraham lived for 175 years and is the first of the 7 Shepherds, with his story told in the Book of Genesis.
• Isaac's story is also told in the Book of Genesis, and he was the first of the Patriarchs, married to Sarah, and a brave warrior who spread awareness of God.
• God changed Isaac's name, and his father Abraham almost sacrificed him.

Jesus and His Disciples

• God's last instructions to his followers were for them to spread His message to all nations.
• Jesus chose 12 disciples, and His purpose was to train them to spread God's message and to work miracles.
• Some people rejected Jesus when he was preaching because they were not willing to accept His teachings.
• As Jesus' twelve disciples, one might help people by spreading God's message, working miracles, and showing love and compassion.

Moses' Story

• God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush.
• Moses' brother was Aaron, and God sent plagues to the Egyptians.
• Moses saw a burning bush on the mountain when he talked to God.
• When he ran away from Pharaoh, Moses went to Midian.
• The mountain where Moses received the 10 commandments is Mount Sinai.

Joseph's Story

• Joseph's father was Jacob, and he was 6 years old when they traveled to Canaan together with his family.
• Joseph was 17 years old when he was sold to be a slave.
• After being sold and made into a slave, Joseph lived in Egypt.
• His father gave Joseph the special gift: a coat with many colors.
