भाषा की परिभाषा
- सार्थक ध्वनियों का समूह, जिससे किसी बात का बोध होता है, भाषा कहलाता है।
भाषा के प्रकार
- भाषा चार प्रकार की होती है:
- मातृभाषा
- राष्ट्रभाषा
- राज्यभाषा
- अन्य भाषा
मातृभाषा
- वह भाषा जो बालक अपने बचपन में माँ के द्वारा सीखता है।
राष्ट्रभाषा
- देश की सर्वमान्यता प्राप्त भाषा को राष्ट्रभाषा कहते हैं।
- विशेषताएँ:
- यह पूर्णतः लिखित होती है।
- इसका क्षेत्र व्यापक होता है।
- यह सार्वमान्य भाषा होती है।
- साहित्य लेखन में इसका प्रयोग किया जाता है।
राज्यभाषा
- किसी राज्य में शासकीय कार्य जिस भाषा में किए जाते हैं, उसे राज्यभाषा कहते हैं।
- अलग-अलग राज्यों की भाषाएँ भिन्न होती हैं।
- उदाहरण:
- गुजरात: गुजराती
- केरल: मलयालम
- मध्य प्रदेश: हिन्दी
