Bear Facts

The three types of bears in North America are the polar bear, the brown bear, and the black bear.

All three types of bears can be found in Canada and Alaska.

Polar bears have white hair, are between 8 and 10 feet tall when standing on their hind legs, and can weigh between 600 and 1,400 pounds.
