§ 145.17 Issue of Certificate.

Submit a written request to the GACA

Hold a valid repair station certificate issued by the FAA or the CAA of a Convention on International Civil Aviation contracting state (correct)

Have at least 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance

Demonstrate proficiency in a specific type of aircraft repair

Provide unrestricted privileges to all repair stations

Issue certificates and/or ratings that exceed the scope of work permitted under the CAA and/or FAA certificate (correct)

Issue certificates without any limitations

Decline all applications for repair station certificates

If it has been operating for over 25 years

If it submits an application directly to the President

If it meets the requirements of this part based on a certification from the CAA of that country (correct)

If it has previously received certification from another aviation authority
