Geometry

Geometry is a branch of mathematics that deals with the study of space configurations and their structure, measurement, transformations, and generalizations. It is concerned with properties of points, lines, angles, polygons, and circles, and their relationships. In high school, the emphasis of the curriculum should focus on mathematics as communication, reasoning, and mathematical connections. Solving problems, communicating, and reasoning via mathematics are not independent of each other but develop concurrently through the interaction of each with the other.
