The normal outline for a letter during the time of the Apostles consisted of 3 parts.

The author of the Book of James is James the Son of Zebedee and brother of the Apostle John.

James states that God is never the source of temptations to sin, for God "himself tempts no one."

The book of James is primarily focused on the interrelationship between faith and works.

Galatians is most likely the earliest of the Apostle Paul's letters.

In Galatians Paul argues that we are counted as righteous by physical lineage rather than faith.

The Galatian Christians are no longer slaves to sin and the Law by virtue of their adoption as God's sons.

Freedom in Christ is a license to indulge the sinful nature.
