The Apostles Creed
- States belief in God, the Father, who is almighty and creator of heaven and earth.
- Also believes in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Lord.
The Nicene Creed
- Believes in one God, the Father almighty, creator of all visible and invisible things
- Belief in Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of God before all ages.
- Jesus is true God from true God, Light from Light, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father (of the same substance); through Jesus all things were created.
- Jesus came down from heaven for salvation.
