Harvard Referencing and Citation
- Harvard referencing system uses a parenthetical system, where the author's surname and year of publication are included in brackets at the end of a sentence or quote.
- When citing a work with two authors, both names are included, separated by an ampersand (&).
- When citing a work with three or more authors, the first author's surname is given, followed by "et al." and the year of publication.
- Footnotes are used to reference sources, with a small number above the line of type, which corresponds to a bibliography at the end of the text.
