Antayat and Bahiyat: A Study of Concepts in Bengali Literature

In reality, there isn't much distinction between bahiyat and antayat since we cannot separate ourselves completely from our surroundings; everything influences each other constantly. For example, if you change your appearance drastically due to some reason, it will influence both your feelings (antayat) as well as others reactions towards you (bahiyat). Similarly, while reading books about different places around the world, although the story focuses mainly on the outer aspects of life, inner experiences may still seep through indirectly.
