Oral Cavity
- The buccal cavity, also known as the vestibule, lies between the teeth and the lips and cheeks.
The Tongue
- The tongue lies in the oral cavity, on the floor of the mouth.
- The tongue is a muscular organ with a flat, narrow, andmobile shape.
- The tongue is connected to the root of the tongue to the mandible and hyoid bone through the genioglossus muscle.
