Stomach Anatomy

  • Esophagus: Tubo muscular qui transporta le alimento del orifice buccal al stomacho.
  • Fundus: Parte superior del stomacho, situate supra del cardia; accumula gas e alimento.
  • Serosa muscularis: Strato exterior del stomacho, compose de una membrana serosa e un strato muscular.
  • Lower esophageal sphincter: Musculo involuntario que regula le passage del alimento desde le esophagus al stomacho, preveniente le refluxo.
  • Cardia: Parte del stomacho donde le esophagus se unisce con le stomacho, importante pro le digestion initial.
  • Body: Parte central del stomacho; facilita le mixture e agitation del alimento con su secretiones digestive.
  • Lesser curvature: Bordo concave del stomacho, donde le curvatura es minime; serve como punto de attachamento pro ligamentos.
  • Greater curvature: Bordo convex del stomacho, plus longitudinose; provide ancoramento pro ligamentos e organos adjacente.
  • Rugae: Folds o pliegues del mucosa gastrica che permitte expansion del stomacho, anque aumenta l'area superficiale pro absorption.
  • Pyloric antrum: Parte inferior del stomacho, ante le pylorus; prepara alimento pro le passage al intestino tenue.
