Amoxapine (Asendin) Overview
- Amoxapine is used to treat depression, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain.

Key Side Effects
- Potentially life-threatening conditions include Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) and extrapyramidal symptoms.

- Other effects include constipation, increased appetite, weight gain, testicular swelling, urinary retention, photosensitivity, and sexual dysfunction.
