Amendments to Resolution No. 1032 (s. 2017)

  • Section 3.27: Professional Identification Card (PIC) is renewable every 3 years upon compliance with legal requirements, bearing registration number, issuance and expiry dates, and Chairperson's signature.

Accreditation of CPD Programs

  • Section 8.2.4: CPD providers apply for accreditation to the CPD Council, indicating the number of times the program will be offered for monitoring purposes.
  • Accredited CPD providers can apply for accreditation in other professions, subject to approval by the concerned CPD Council.
  • In-house training programs and capacity-building activities of government agencies and private employers are accredited and considered as CPD compliance for their employed professionals.

Transition Period and Compliance

  • Section 10: The transition period allows gradual implementation of the CPD Act of 2016 objectives.
  • Professionals requiring specific CPD credit units for PIC renewal or international practice are exempt from the transition period.
  • After the transition period, CPD Act of 2016 shall be applied in its entirety, with measures to address implementation issues.

Credit Units and Recognition

  • Section 7: Certain sections of Resolution No. 1032 are repealed or modified accordingly.

Annex "A" - Priority Deliverables
