Types of Expressions
- An expression containing only one term is called a monomial.
- An expression containing two terms is called a binomial.
- An expression containing three terms is called a trinomial.
- An expression containing one or more terms with non-zero coefficients and variables having non-negative integers as exponents is called a polynomial.
- A polynomial can contain any number of terms, one or more than one.
Examples of Expressions
