- Air Force Technical Order (TO) System is managed by TOMAs assigned by responsible Program Manager or Supply Chain Manager.
- TOMAs are responsible for managing the configuration of TOs and providing users with accurate, reliable and timely data.
- Flight Manual Managers (FMM) may be the equivalent to Technical Content Managers (TCM) for Flight Manual Program (FMP) Publications.
- Individual TO currency and accuracy is the responsibility of assigned TCMs and Equipment Specialists (ESs).
- Communication related to TO system policy and procedure questions should be directed to Command Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO) and then the focal point identified in their MAJCOM supplement (if applicable) to this TO.
- TOs include all manuals developed or acquired for organic operation, maintenance, inspection, modification or management of centrally acquired and managed AF systems and end items.
- Each TO is assigned a unique TO number in the AF Standard TO Management System.
- This provides sequences for filing, indexing, and a means for users to identify and establish requirements for distribution of TOs.
- USSF may issue supplemental guidance that is applicable for its respective mission areas.
- Waiver requests for this TO will be submitted In Accordance With (IAW) Paragraph 1.6.
