Adobe Illustrator Overview
- The entire Illustrator interface is contained within the Application Frame.
- Access and manage workspaces through the Workspace Switcher Menu.
- The Recolor Artwork button appears in the Control Panel when an object is selected with the selection tool.
Tool Management
- To rename, duplicate, or delete a custom tool panel, navigate to Window > Tools.
- The Swatches Panel allows storage and application of Colors, Patterns, and Gradients.
- Illustrator includes eight predefined workspaces for different tasks.
Panel Navigation
- Click an icon to expand a panel displayed only as an icon in the dock.
- Drag a panel tab/icon over the vertical left edge of the dock to create a new vertical dock.
Document Management
- Illustrator documents are displayed as a tabbed window within the Application Frame.
