Addition Within 100

Addition Without Carrying

Addition without carrying, also called simple addition, only requires the sum of two single-digit numbers. This type of addition does not involve carrying over any amounts. For example:

  6 + 4 = 10

In this simple addition, the digits are directly combined without any carry-over. The answer is 10.
