• The story starts in a faraway country where four characters live
• They all run through a labyrinth in search of cheese, which makes them happy

• The other two are "little people" similar to humans named Kif and Kof
• Both the mice and the little people spend their days in the labyrinth looking for their favorite cheese
• Oli and Corri, the mice, possess the instincts of rodents of seeking dried, cured cheese
• Kif and Kof, the little people, use a mind full of beliefs to seek a very different kind of cheese that they believe will make them happy and achieve
• Every morning, the mice and the little people wore tracksuits and running shoes, left their little house, and rushed running into the labyrinth in search of their favorite cheese
• The labyrinth consisted of corridors and rooms, some containing tasty cheese, and dark corners, and some dead ends
• To search for cheese, Oli and Corri are using the simple method of groping, and explore one corridor, and turn back, and explore the follow
• Oli sniffs the air with his big snout to find out where to find cheese
• Kif and Kof used a different method based on their capacity to think and learn from past experiences
• The mice and little people find what they had been looking for at the end of one of the corridors, Central Quesera Q

• Oli and Corri woke up early every morning, and ran through the labyrinth following the same route
• Once they arrive at their destination, the mice began to enjoy eating cheese
• At the beginning, Kif and Kof went running every day to Central Quesera Q to taste the new and tasty cheese that they saved
• After some time, the people started to change habits
• Kif and Kof got up later and later every day, dressed more slowly, and walked to Central Quesera Q
• Kif and Kof had no idea who put the cheese
• They simply assume that it would be in its place
• Every morning, when Kif and Kof arrived at Central Quesera Q, they got comfortable, hung up their tracksuits, and stored their slippers
• As they had already found cheese, they felt more comfortable

• The little people are happy, as they thought they were safe forever

• Every night the little people went home with cheese, and back again to Central Quesera Q every morning

• After 1 month, the confident of Kif and Kof became arrogance, and did not notice of what it happening
• Time passes, and Oli and Corri continued doing the same every single day
• They arrived early in the morning at Central Quesera Q and sniffed, dug, and inspected the zone
• They inspect any changes from the previous day, and chewed cheese.
• One morning, they arrived at Central Quesera Q discovered that there was no cheese
• It did not surprise them
• Since they have been noticing that the cheese reserves had been diminishing little by little, Oli and Corri were ready for the inevitable and took off running
• The mice did not get lost in deep analysis of things, as they decided to change
• Oli raised his snout, sniffed said yes with his head and then Corri ran through the labyrinth, and Oli followed him as fast as he could
• Kif and Kof made an apparition at Central Quesera Q that same day
• They did not pay atention to the little changes that had been happening, assuming their cheese will still be there
• The new situation caught them unprepared
• Kif shouted that there was no cheese
• Kof shook his head negatively
• The people reacted non productively but was understandable
• For the people, finding the cheese meant more than having the necessary quantity of cheese every day
• To the little people, finding cheese meant to obtain that to be happy
• Cheese meant feeling safe, a family, and a comfortable house in Cheddar strret to Kof
• Cheese meant becoming somebody in charge and a marvelous mansion in the highs of Camembert to Kif
• Since cheese was real important to them, the people spent a time figuration out what theu should do
• At the beginning, what came to their mind was to inspected deep into Central Quesera Q to prove that cheese had been disappeared
• While Oly and Corri have been in march, Kif and Kof continued vacillating
• They rant and complained as what it happen was unfair
• Kof started to get depressed
• The little people did not give credit to what they saw
• How could that had happen and who told they this was coming and that things were not to pass
• That night, Kif and Kof came back home and unhappy; but before of leave Central Quesera Q, Kof wrote in the wall that:

• Next day, Kif and Kof came back again where they were to find the cheese
• Situation never changed
• Kif and Kof stood paralyzed, motionless like statues
