What is IPSec?
A set of security protocols used at the network layer of the OSI model
What does IPSec do?
Secures data when communication is happening between two points over a network. To ensure the data transferred over the internet cannot be stolen by using authentication and encryption algorithms

Firstly, the two points will identify each other and negotiate the parameters for encryption methods and authentication. Then, it creates an IPSec tunnel.
