A paragraph in Word is any text that ends with a hard return.
You can control the appearance of individual paragraphs using paragraph formatting.
Line spacing refers to the vertical space between lines of text in a paragraph.
Paragraph space refers to the amount of space above or below a paragraph.
The Increase/Decrease button adjusts the distance between a paragraph and the margins.

Text direction is important when working with right-to-left languages.
Margins are the blank areas around the edges of a Word document.
You can use default margin settings or define your own custom margins.
To adjust margins, click on the Page Layout tab.
Page size affects the layout of your printed document.
Ensure your document's page size matches your printer's settings to avoid layout issues when printing.

A4 paper size measures 21 cm in width by 29.7 cm in height.
Letter size is a common software default, but it's recommended to use A4 for most printouts.
Two document orientations are available: Portrait and Landscape.
Portrait mode displays a page longer than it is wide.
Landscape mode displays a page wider than it is long.

Pictures and drawing objects can enhance the visual appeal of your Word documents.
Pictures are objects created outside of Word and can be inserted.
Drawing objects are created directly within Word.
The Illustrations group on the Insert tab contains options for inserting pictures and online pictures.
The Picture button allows you to insert a saved image file from your computer.
Online Pictures lets you insert royalty-free clipart from Office.com or web search results.
Modifying a picture in Word doesn't affect the original image file.

WordArt applies a series of effects to regular text.
It offers outlines, fills, shadows, reflections, glow effects, and three-dimensional rotation.
WordArt can be positioned anywhere on a page.
Existing text can be converted to WordArt by selecting it and clicking the Insert WordArt button.
To insert a new WordArt object, click the Insert WordArt button directly.
