Paint Introduction
- Paint is a drawing program created by Microsoft
- It's used to draw, color, and edit pictures and shapes
- Paint acts as a canvas for everyone
- Paint has various tools to help with drawing
- The program includes a ribbon with different groups of tools
Starting Paint
- To start Paint, click the Start icon
- A list of programs will appear on the left
- Click on Windows Accessories
- Then, click on Paint
Parts of Paint Program
- Paint has tabs (Home, View) that offer different commands
- A ribbon appears when a tab is selected
- Different groups are in the ribbon, each containing various tools
- The drawing area is where you draw and paint
- The Colors group is on the right side of the ribbon, used for selecting colors
