2024 Summer Olympics - New Sports

Host cities now can add up to six new sports to the Olympic program, a change since 2020. Paris 2024 includes four new ones.

Sport Climbing, a second appearance since Tokyo, combines three events: bouldering, speed climbing, and lead climbing. Bouldering: scaling up walls w/o ropes, judged on fewest attempts.
