The Physics, magic and divine energy from the Multiverse Once I began developing my stories I eventually started running into many issues, because I wanted the stories to “make sense” and be believable, make it so that people could actually think that my Multiverse exists in the reality and that we’re in the universe B-12, but a lot of things just couldn’t apply in our “world”. Luckily, I had a lot of time to solve these issues. The first and main issue is the notion that my Multiverse doesn’t expand physically. Since it’s commonly accepted that the Universe has been expanding ever since the Big Bang, the idea of my Multiverse existing was impossible. But, after spending my time doing some research and theorizing, I came up with a solution. In our universe, there are many enormous “fields” which form naturally on a macrocosmic scale. But, our poor understanding of the macrocosmos hasn’t gotten us to proving the existence of these “fields” yet. These “fields” are both invisible and intangible, and function like some sort of cosmic lenses, which shift in a constant loop, making it seem like everything after them is moving away from or towards us in an eternal, cyclical pattern. These “fields” are perfectly synchronized to the speed of light, so that when light reaches a “field” after another one, both “fields” will have been shifted the same; this is why there are no disruptions of the “illusion” when these fields overlap, and why the further we look, the faster things appear to be moving away from us. The “Fields” also directly influence the frequency of lightwaves that go through it, hence, this is why our universe is “redshifting” (the frequency of light waves appears to be reducing as time goes on). We know that energy can’t be created nor destroyed, so if the universe really has been the same size, the energy it used to have would have to go somewhere, because of the fact that we can observe that the universe used to be much hotter. The energy was never destroyed. When the grand supreme gods created our universe, they used an enormous amount of energy, combusting it entirely into hot dense matter, and it slowly began losing its energy, because the Universe naturally balances itself to have a certain amount of it. So it didn’t destroy it, or transform it into mass, it simply expelled it into the endless void. The laws of physics can vary between different universes, but most of them are “Newtonian”, so if we were to travel to another universe, we probably wouldn’t be able to tell the differences between them in our day to day lives. In total, there exist 72 sets of laws of physics, named through their number (it goes from Set-00 to Set-71). Each universe has one of those, meaning multiple universes can have the same laws of physics (since there are more universes than sets of laws). The Set-00 is the most common, both the divine realm, the universe T-10 and many other universes have it. One thing to note is that the speed of light in this set of laws is massively faster than ours, but it essentially works the same, as the definite limit of the speed something can travel at. This makes it so that even beings that can move faster than 3x10^8m/s still have a linear kinetic energy to speed ratio. Also, in this set of laws, “fields” don’t form, so their respective universes don’t look like they’re expanding. But there are two things that technically aren’t bound by the laws of physics: Magic and divine energy. Magic in itself works through the use of magions (pronounced mahjeeons) which are very small invisible and intangible particles, that unlike atoms (they’re considered different elements by the amount of protons in them), what makes the difference is their shape. So while the purest form of magic (just pure energy creation) uses magions with the shape of perfect spheres, in a complex magic ability like summoning a living cannibal apple, the magions used will have an extremely complex and specific shape. But we have to point out that the complexity of the shape does not necessarily mean performing this sort of magic is harder. In fact, the perfectly shaped sphere magions are some of the hardest to make. In every universe, there is a law of physics that never changes, the fact that energy can’t be created or destroyed, yet magic can create energy from “nothing”. But technically, that’s not what actually happens, because all magic is drawn from the imaginary realm, which contains and produces a nigh-infinite amount of magical energy. The users essentially form a “connection” with the imaginary realm and draw the power from within it, which is then stored into their bodies for immediate or later use. By going more into detail, we can say that: There is going to be a set limit of magical energy someone can store. Also, users can naturally restore their magical energy, and if they’re fatigued, they will generally restore it more slowly, because their “connection” with the imaginary realm will naturally weaken. Magical energy can also be expelled right when it’s drawn, without having the need to save it for later. In the end, everything varies between the users or between different races; you could have someone who can’t expel energy and only store it or the other way around, or you could have someone who can directly expel a lot of energy but without storing it and only for a short time, etcetera… Generally speaking, the more exposure and usage of magic the more it will allow to increase somebody’s magic “connection”, storing capacity, and mastery. It is also important to note that magions do not originate from the imaginary realm, but instead are created by the user through the magical energy as a source, the better the mastery of magic, the better someone will be able to use it (the more ease they will have to create the magions needed). Every living thing that can use magic or store magic is considered a magical being. Divine energy originates from divine beings, also known as deities. Unlike physical energy or magical energy (even though magical beings “physically” create energy, it’s drawn from a place outside of the universe, the imaginary realm), divine energy is truly created by the user, without the use of any type of particle. There will be more information on divine beings in a later chapter.
