Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC) Institutionalization Grades 1 to 6 as a separate subject with the allotment as the other core subjects Integrated in the daily learning activities in Kindergarten FOCUS: Human dignity respect for oneself giving oneself to others in the spirit of community according to proper respect to people upholding discipline and order cultivating sincerity honesty obedience love for country Values Education Institutionalization Grades 7 to 10 as a separate subject with the allotment as the other core subjects. Integrated in Grades 11 and 12 FOCUS: Universal human, ethical and moral values respect for oneself, others and our elders intercultural diversity gender equity ecology and integrity of creation peace and justice obedience to the law nationalism global citizenship patience perseverance honesty integrity good faith SEC 7. DepEd's Core Values and Dimensions of Human Person as Bases for GMRC and Values Education. DepEd's core values of; Maka-Diyos Maka-tao Makakalikasan Makabansa The dimensions of the human person: Physical Spiritual Intellectual Moral Social Economic Political Character Building Activities Actual and authentic learning activities wherein the character of the learners is formed, shaped, and/or built up. Examples: role playing in the classroom community immersion activities teacher-parent collaborative learning activities school-initiated values formation activities simulated activities other forms of experiential learning Teaching Qualifications and Capacity Building for Teachers Teachers with diploma, certification and/or training in the field of Values Education or other allied disciplines such as social sciences, Teachers with diploma, certification and/or training in the philosophy, guidance, psychology or under FBESS in our case in PNU shall be given preference in the teaching of this core subject. field of Values Education or other allied disciplines shall be given preference in the teaching of this core subject.
