It aims to foster sustainable growth through continuous efforts in organizational and human resource development. Notably, it is the first private consulting firm to implement a development project in Nepal beyond the engineering sector, with the support of bilateral organizations. The foundation specializes in capacity building for institutions and professionals, providing vocational training and employment linkages, facilitation support, training package development and end-to-end training cycle management. Its expertise also extends to project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and adopting the most effective methodologies to deliver best practices to clients. Our clientele includes government organizations, bilateral and multilateral donors, UN agencies, INGOs, NGOs, community-based organizations (CBOs) and private organizations. The two nations have a long-standing tradition of free movement of people across their shared border of over 1,850 km, which touches five Indian states: Sikkim, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The India-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship of 1950 serves as the foundation of the special relationship between the two countries. This treaty allows Nepalese citizens to enjoy facilities and opportunities on par with Indian citizens, fostering a spirit of equality and mutual respect. Today, nearly 8 million Nepalese citizens live and work in India, further strengthening the ties between the two nations. HISTORICAL TIES Nepal holds significant importance for India as a neighbor and plays a special role in its foreign policy due to their geographical proximity, as well as the historical, cultural, and economic linkages that have spanned centuries. Both countries share deep cultural and religious connections, particularly through Hinduism and Buddhism. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, is located in present-day Nepal, underscoring the shared spiritual heritage. Additionally, the two nations share familial and marital ties, often referred to as Roti-Beti ka Rishta (bonds of bread and marriage). It is registered as a Public Charitable Trust under the Government of India with registration number 22/04/01/391-340/CD1. The organization was officially registered on 3 rd April 2021. The foundation's leadership includes Sanjay Kumar Gupta (Chairman), Rekha Devi (Secretary) and Rekha Devi (Trustee). These books shall be closed on MAINTENANCE OF BOOKS the 31st of March each year. The accounts will OF ACCOUNTS be audited by a Chartered Accountant, who shall be appointed or reappointed annually. The necessary returns shall be filed with the relevant authorities. The Trust and its funds shall be irrevocable for all times. It is expressly declared that no part of the Trust property, income, or any accretion IRREVOCABILITY OF THE thereto shall be applied for any purpose that is TRUST not a charitable purpose under the law.
