## Commands (Privilege Mode) - **enable:** Takes you to Privilege mode. - **exit / disable / logout:** Takes you from Privilege mode to User mode. - **config t:** Takes you from Privilege mode to Terminal configuration mode. - **?:** Lists all possible commands available in a certain mode. - **sh run:** Used to show running configurations. - **sh start:** Used to show startup configurations. - **show mac-address-table:**Used in privileged mode. - **copy running-config startup-config:** To save running configurations. - **Reload:** Restart the switch ## Commands (Terminal Configuration) - **enable secret NEWPW:** Used to set a password to protect your configurations on privilege mode. - **hostname WORD:** Set system's network name. ## Commands (Line Configuration) - **Line console 0 OR line cons 0 OR line con 0:** Used in terminal configurations mode. - **Password NEWPW:** Used in line-config mode to set a password on this line. - **Login:** This command must be used after you set a password to the line to enable password checking at login. ## Commands (Interface Configuration) - **interface ? (OR int ?):** This command is used in Terminal configuration mode to shows all interfaces for this switch. - **interface Fastethernet 0/1 OR int f0/1:** This command is used in Terminal configuration mode to take you to interface configuration mode.
