Finals Review – Marriage, Finances and Ministry You must have a clear conscience before God so you can hear the voice of God. - When you don’t do something is right your conscience is what prompts you that you should not have done that. He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends. – Proverbs 17:9 (NKJV). Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. - Proverbs 17:9 (NLT). - When you don’t have direction, you probably need correction. - Check with God at least 3 times. - God leads in steps. Biblical sexuality Two kinds of people when it comes to homosexuality. 1. Those that oppose God and are wicked. 2. Those who are confused. - Always correct from a place of love. - Lead them by the word. - Make a connection with people. - You need to get past the appearance. - You can only minister to people whose hearts are open to receive. - Some people are rebellion toward God because of some hurt and disappointment they had emotionally. They have chosen to blame God. o Depend on the Holy Spirit. 19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. - James 1:19 - You need to know on the subject. - God judges sin not people. - You preach what the Holy Ghost prompts you to preach. - You must check your thoughts! o It starts in your heart and then people action it. - Judgement begins in the household of God. - Make sure you have a Holy Ghost filled Church. o Sin is allowed in Church when leadership is sinning. o There is a difference between the Shepherd and the heirling. o Don’t be soft dealing with the devil. Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. - Matthew 10:16 - When you have a clear conscience before God then when things happen then you have a supernatural authority to take it on. - Manifestations are flesh more than they are spiritual. o There is a difference. - Not having a clear conscious hinders your faith. - Preach in love. - Don’t try to address things in the natural. - Don’t address things from the pulpit. - Preach the Gospel and be led by the Holy Spirit. - Let the word do the work. o Go with the flow of the Holy Ghost. 2 - It takes faith to receive from God and it takes faith to keep what God has given you. - Doubt and unbelief hinder the service. - Hate religion! - A wildfire is better than no fire! 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test all things; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil. - 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22. - If people think you will bend, then they will keep pushing. - Discern who wants to disrupt the service and those who want to be free. Note - You have been called to set people free from depression. - The more you let God use you, the more you will be used by God. 3
