1^st^ Farmer: Someone told me you are looking for some to new beef cattle. 2^nd^ Farmer: Well. I would like to buy a few cows and a bull, my herd needs some new blood. 1^st^ Farmer: I have some good Short horn heifers. 2^nd^ Farmer: I\'m looking for Angus or Hereford. 1^st^ Fanner: Why don\'t you chance to Short horns? They\'re as big as and more docile than Herefords. And they dress out more of tile best cuts. 2^nd^ Farmer: You may be right, but I prefer the Angus. They may look small, but they weigh more than you would think. And I think their calves are stronger, anyway. 1^st^ Farmer: But the cows don\'t produce enough milk to these calves. That\'s why I like the Shorthorns. 2^nd^ Farmer: That reminds me of something else; the Angus is polled. 1^st^ Fairer: That\'s right. I think I would probably try Polled Durham if I were planning to change breeds. They are also good milkier. 2^nd^ Farmer: I\'m all for breeding polled animals. Think how dangerous it would be if all our cattle had horns like the Texas Longhorns. 1^st^ Farmer: Dangerous to the cattle as well as man. But they could be dehorned, of course. 2^nd^ Farmer: And I think more weight is gained with polled cattle. Well, I wish you had a few steers, at least. 1^st^ Farmer: We\'re going to castrate some of our calves in a few weeks. But I\'m afraid they aren\'t the breed you want. 2^nd^ Farmer: No, they aren\'t. I\'ll see you in a few weeks. 1^st^ Farmer: Good. I\'ll look forward to seeing you then. Goodbye. 2^nd^ Farmer: Goodbye.
