Secretory cells that produce mucus ! Found in respiratory and intestinal tract ! Secretion vesicles into a duct for release of mucus Parietal Cells ! Found in the lining of the stomach; in the gastric glands ! Release HCl- into the stomach for chemical digestion Chief Cell ! Also called peptic cell ! Found in the stomach lining and releases pepsinogen and chymosin into the stomach
