You will be given an image to use as a stimulus. You will be expected to: - create a piece that is convincing and compelling - it should fit the Gothic genre and should be engaging for your reader - include a range of ambitious vocabulary - include a range of different literary and linguistic features - organize your piece so that it is clear, with fluently linked paragraphs You can use the images below to help you practise your creative writing skills. The first image shows a figure in the middle of a path between some trees. The figure seems to be looking at a tall structure that is obscured by a forest. The second image shows a large ornate gate in front of a building. The gate has several decorative bars. There are two lanterns, one on each side of the gate. The third image shows a large building with many tall, pointed turrets. The building appears to be old, and is partially obscured by a dark, cloudy sky.
