Actual Recruitment stage; task of attracting pool of potential candidates Internal; transfers, promotions or demotions External; schools, ITs, universities, agency’s Cv and standard application form 3. Selection- begins when application forms have been received Selection Tools; Interviews Reference checks Selection tests; Intelligence Aptitude tests Personality tests 4. Pay and benefits Employee rewards are usually classified under 2 headings; 1. 📌 Intrinsic rewards; spring from the job itself including autonomy, responsibility and challenge 2. 📌 Extrinsic rewards; more tangible including pay, job security and working conditions Payment systems 1. Flat rate only - fixed hourly/weekly/monthly 2. Flat rate + individual/group bonus 3. Profit sharing - bonus related to company performance 4. Piecework - payment based solely on performance/job well done 5.
